Genuine Original Equipment (OEM) Axle Shafts for your 1500 or light duty 2500 Dodge 4x4.  These axle shafts fit all 1994-2001 Dodge 1500 and 2500 (under 8800 Gross Vehicle Weight) 4x4 trucks.  Replace your broken shafts today!  Made in Mexico.  Note:  The only difference between ABS and non-ABS axles is ABS outer shafts have a pressed on cast aluminum tone ring/slinger which was used on 1994-1997 trucks with external ABS sensors, while non-ABS outer shafts have a tin slinger.  ABS  axles (QU40325, 40285ABS) will fit either ABS or non-ABS axles.  Right assembly QU40285 only fits non-ABS or internal ABS axles.  1998 to 2001 trucks with internal ABS can use either outer shaft style.

Differential Output Shaft

On 1994-2002 trucks with the vacuum disconnect system, the Differential Output Shaft from the differential to axle disconnect has splines that mate with the clutch collar (sold below in option section).  These splines often get worn or twisted particularly on 1994-99 trucks.   Made in U.S.A. or  Mexico

Axle Shaft Assemblies for 2000-2002 2500 and 3500 trucks with Central Axle Disconnect.  Each assembly includes inner shaft, cold-forged universal joint, outer shaft and slinger. QU40349 also includes support bushing pressed in inner shaft.  Made in U.S.A. except right inner shaft Made in Mexico.

HUB & BEARING KITS  The front wheel bearings on 1994-1999 Dodge 4x4 3/4 and 1 ton Diesel and Heavy-Duty gas engine trucks are of unitized construction.  They are not serviceable and no replacement parts are available for them.  If your front wheel bearings are noisy or loose, you need to replace the hub and bearing assembly with one of these original equipment  hub assemblies featuring Timken® Bearings and those all important studs.  Available in kits with or without required tools. These Hubs are for trucks with 8800 pound and higher gross vehicle weight (GVW).

Inner Axle Seal Kits  Whenever you remove the front axle shafts, inspect the shafts and axle tubes for any signs of differential fluid leakage.  It's a lot cheaper and easier to replace the seals than rebuilding your diff after it blows up due to oil starvation! Differential removal is required for most seals except the disconnect side on vacuum shift axles.  These are tricky seals to install, but you can do it with one of these kits!  A differential case spreader is definitely recommended but not absolutely required for differential removal/installation.  We also find a dead-blow sledge essential to reinstall the differential. Extra seals, differential cover gaskets, and RTV sealant are available separately.  Call us for information on additional tools required to disassemble the axle.

1994-'02 kits for W1500-3500 with Central Axle Disconnect (CAD). Makes seal installation easy and almost fool-proof.  Full kits Include 2 each left and right axle seals, 2 seal installers, 150,000 psi tensile strength alloy steel threaded rod with Grade 8 hardware, rod guide, CAD gasket, and instructions.  Our special seal installers support these difficult to install seals in 3 locations and are machined out of solid steel. 
Please Read: Until early 1999, NOK supplied the original equipment seals for Ram 1500-3500 Dodge trucks Dana Spicer axles. Later 1999 models used either 1 NOK seal and 1 CR seal or 2 CR seals.  2000-2001 1500 trucks used 2 CR seals.  The seals themselves are interchangeable on these vehicles, but our seal installers will only fit the specific brand of seal sold in the kit.  Also see our Axle Seal Tool Page

Outboard Axle Shaft to Axle Housing Seals are found on many 1994-2002 Dodge 4x4 trucks. QU40362-2 is used on 1994-2002 1500 1/2 ton and 1994-1999 3/4 ton trucks under 8800 lb. GVW . QK4629 is used some 2000-02 4x4 2500 and 3500 models.  Seal presses on inner shaft next to the yoke.  It's function is to keep dust and debris from entering the axle housing tubes. Made in U.S.A. Includes two seals. Dan the Gear Man Tech Tip: To maximize seal life and prevent squeaks, apply a thin, uniform coat of a quality grease to the seal lip.
