Pinion Seals and Yokes
	Ford used two types of u-joint coupling at the 10.50" rear axle. Most models especially in later years will have a round companion flange on the axle which bolts to a driveshaft flange yoke, however some vehicles use a Pinion Yoke which directly connects to the driveshaft universal joint. Either style will need replacement when the seal surface is grooved, but it is very rare to replace a companion flange for any other reason. In contrast, a bad u-joint will often wreck a pinion end yoke.	Link to Vehicle Make or Category Links
