Replacement CV Ball Kit for Constant Velocity Drive shaft Joints
QU40744 CV Ball Replacement Kit fits most domestic 4x4 front and rear driveshafts with Spicer-Type, non-greaseable Double-Carden Constant Velocity Joints. Also fits 2005-up Dodge Ram greaseable CV joints. Kit includes CV Ball and socket with needle bearings, spring (under red shipping protector), and seal. Made in U.S.A. Available with or without our 16 page Tech Service Bulletin TSB3503 Spicer Style External Snap Ring Constant Velocity Service with 63 color photos.

Dan the Gear Man® Service Tip:  If your CV Flange casting is OK, you can save money by replacing just the worn ball and seat with this Kit. Be advised you will need a 1"-1¼" blind hole bearing puller and a hydraulic press.

Dan the Gear Man Tech Note: Some early 1995 Jeeps came equipped with a greaseable CV Ball. Use QU40743 for those applications and ALL 1971-1994 Jeeps with CV shafts
